We spent the Christmas holiday season in Hawaii this year! It was a long-time dream come true to be able to spend Christmas Day at the beach. Of course, we were always on the lookout for fun Toy to the World finds during our stay.
One of the things we always look for when we travel is games. We love games that are unique and that remind us of places we've been. This GO FISH HAWAII is a great version of the classic game. It's hilarious to try and pronounce the Hawaiian names and you get to learn something while you play. We found this in a darling toy store in Whaler's Village on the island of Maui.
We spent the first few days of our trip on the island of Maui, then we went to Oahu.. We really wanted to stay at the Disney Aulani Resort, but we were only there for a few days and all the reservations required a longer stay. We did stay at the JW Marriott right next door (it is now closed and being remodeled as a Four Seasons to open in 2016). It was nice to be able to walk over to the Aulani so we could eat and shop there. It looked like a lot of fun and we will definitely try to stay there if we ever go back!
Alex was especially excited to find an Olaf plush in the Aulani gift shop. He thought it was hilarious that Olaf was in Hawaii!

As you can see, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on vacation. We miss that warm sunshine. Hope we can go back someday!
